Invicta 7377 wrist watches news:
I swear, this watch has no real name, just "model m109.14.43.65." That looks almost like an IP address. Marvin refers to it as part of the M109 collection. So for the purposes of this article, I will just call it the Marvin watch or M109 (even though there are other M109 watches in various colors and styles). They should have called it something cool like the "Squaropolis." Yea, I just made that name up. The company shares the story of many current watch companies: it started a long time ago (1850). Died, then came back via a name purchase. This was about a year ago, and the company was wise enough to have a wide enough range of prices to make them accessible. Their watches are prices from about $400 - $4000, and they offer both men's and women's watches with mechanical or quartz movements. This particular Marvin watch is pretty cool, with a nice design. Actually, the design is mostly Bell & Ross (dial and numeral design), Glycine (compare logos, even though the Marvin and Glycine l

HiI have a 1927 Illinois Cushion Case that I need a part for. The watch maker that is repairing the watch asked me to search for the part so as to speed up the process. In a previous post someone suggested that I contact Jules Borel & Co. I did and if you are not a watch maker they are a pretty unfriendly bunch. Wouldn't even tell me if they carried parts for the watch so I could have the watch maker call them. I know there are a few very knowledgeable Illinois collectors here so I'm hoping someone can point me to a source for parts that will at least talk to a non-watch maker.ThanksTony
Here is the Christmas present, Aqua Terra 150m:but browsing the net, I saw what appears to be the same watch on a different strap:on this website which is in German. Google doesn't translate very well. Any ideas where this strap might be available? I'm loving the brown leather strap now, but you never know when you might want to switch things up.L
You may have heard that Omega is expanding their boutiques worldwide. One opened in a upscale mall a few months ago and I was invited to their grand opening. Got to know a well trained associate and drooled over their watches on display. As I was chatting with my favorite associate, she mentioned that with all of the boutiques opening in the US, people have been sending their watches in for servicing instead of going to their ADs. She indicated that with the sudden influx of watches in for repairs and/or servicing, their NJ service center has stopped taking into new requests as they are backlogged and want to ensure their quaility control is not taking a back seat in the haste of turning requests around quicker. Not sure what's everyone's thoughts on the boutique model and its effect on the AD channel especially family owned businesses. One thing for sure, the ability to negotiate a discount in a boutique will be near impossible.
