New to Omega... Question Re. 2803.80.31
Greetings Everyone...I am looking at buying my first Omega!! Looking at a used Aqua Terra, 2803.80.31 8500 caliber. This watch is offered for sale by a Jewelry Store and has been overhauled. It comes with a one year store warranty and is priced substantialy lower then a new one.Do any of you know of any major problems with this particular watch or movement? It looks like a good way to get into a Omega watch without paying the full frieght!!ThanksBob

Hi everyone new member looking for a little guidance. I'm currently looking to purchase my first watch of any real quaility I have seen and tried on the model above which only came out in June I also like the new 007 Skyfall and the 231.10.44.50.09.001. Any guidance or help would be apprecated. I have looked at the Rolex but would need to spend far to much to get anything I really like how do Tag and Breitling stand up to omega.

Hi everyone I just posted this on the invicta forum. I just got a used invicta pro diver and I need to know what movement it has in it. It says: Swiss parts movement and the model number is 6009 and it is a quartz. I would like to know if it has an EOL indicator on it too, THANKS!!

Nautilus 5712 vs Calatrava 5227G
Hi, newbie here and to watches in general. I only got one watch, a Rolex Datejust 41, which I chose over a Submariner at the time I bought it, and now to which I am fond of. Now here goes the time to consider what I'm gonna buy myself next. I went to a local AD without knowing anything about PP and fell in love with the Calatrava 5227G. But then of course I went online, and almost universally people recommend the 5711. I tried to look and get on waiting lists and figured I got a better chance on the 5712 so now I'm on the waiting list for that (8-12 mos from an AD in the US)Which now puts me at asking what I should be buying - the 5227G is pure love while the 5712 is a safe choice. I'm 31yo, self-employed with my share of attending important functions and meetings, and I plan to make this watch an all-rounder, wearing it anywhere from an important meeting to strolling at the mall. I realize the 5227G is more closer to the PP brand, and somehow that is an upside for me. Any thoughts?Sen
