Your opinion/2nd opinion on 50th Anniv Speedy LE???
Good day, guys!I would say that this Speedy looks great, especially the seahorse's logo, which is (correct me if i'm wrong) the only speedy with this kind of logo stuck there on the dial. And awkwardly, I like the dauphine hands better than broad arrows on this version...pardon my limited knowledge on Speedmasters, but that is how I feel about it, sincerely :D* photo taken from this very forum, on a thread by Houston :)However, this LE production runs up to 5957 pieces, which makes me think "it's tad too many for a LE!". At 5957pcs, wow, that'll be plenty of it around!!!Would you guys comments bout this piece? So my girlfriend recently told me she wants to get me a watch for christmas, but she doesn't know which one to get me, so shewants to know which one I want [Am I in heaven? ]Buttt, I'm having a really hard time thinking of one she can afford, but still appeals to me. Right now I'm down to two choices.1)I really dig the Omega Planet Ocean (Especially, ep.yimg/ca/I/movadobaby_2082_68747161) and I feel like this is as close as an homage as I can get to it. If I were to get this watch, I would definitely remove that bracelet and add a brown strap just like the true Omega has, but I'm not sure how I feel about the orange numbers on the dial. My roomate currently has one of these and he says the time runs good (Maybe +/- 10 seconds in the past month or so that hes had it), so it seems that the Seagull movement they put in these is pretty reliable.2)I also really dig the marina militare Panerai homages. I would definitely need a replacement strap as that one is ugly, however I'm really not su

Figured I'd officially introduce myself and say Hi to the fellow AP owners. I recently purchased my first AP (a silver dial 15400 from Brian G aka boxerbrian) and absolutely love it. I have owned several Rolexes, probably a dozen Panerais, Omegas, Breitlings, Tudors, UNs, IWCs, GOs, etc etc - mainly hang out on the Dive Watch Connection and buy/sell/trade on there, TZ and Paneristi. I've wanted a Diver ever since they were first introduced but because I love my DSSD on Rubber B so much I decided to fill a gap in my collection and do the 15400 with my first AP. The watch has more finishing details than any other piece I've ever owned with probably a GO Sport Evo Panorama date being second. Everything about the watch screams quality and it's versatile enough for me that I can wear it in my business casual work environment or with jeans.
