I've been trying to post these for quite a while now but I bought a new iMac a few months back and haven't figured out how to fix the scan feature that wasn't working till today (spent 1 hour on the phone with the Apple guy and he finally got the scanning drivers to synch up).So, here goesthis first one I've had since May! This is my first chance to post it. I love the green of her outfit, the mother of pearl with gold/diamond markers on the dial and the white leather strap, the white handgrip of her tennis racket, that look in her eyes, the shapely...uh, form of heruh, wrist, wearing that lady's Datejust. Yeah, that's it, her shapely wrist. How is it that some of these tennis stars just happen to look like drop dead gorgeous models, as well? Hamilton or Tissot?
I've been contemplating my next purchase for some time now. I'm either going with Hamilton or Tissot to "move up a tier". These brands seem to be almost on par with each other, but what do I know. So here's the question, which brand do you consider to be higher quality in general without getting down to specific models. If you had the option, which way would you lean?P.S I made the poll public cause it's more fun that way.

Incoming! Finally - A member of "Club ROC"!
It felt like an eternity; in reality it was only on order for about 2 1/2 months. Obtained my first high end watch - the 26331ST (Blue). I am thrilled. I know my pics aren't the quality of some of the folks (Ben!) but I wanted to get the post and then get better at the pics, in different light, macro, etc. A big shout out to my AD in Greenwich, CT. (and thanks to christianj for the referral!). Also thanks to this forum, and all of the thoughts and posts along the way. You all really confirmed my choice in AP! For the longest time I had my eye on an ALS 1815 but I felt to start I wanted a watch that easily worked for dressed up and down - and where sweat wouldn't hurt the band. This watch will be my daily wear for the most part, except for grungy activities!
