Jacob & Co. JC-M30y 2.00 carat bezel wrist watches news:
Very soon ultra high-end watch maker Greubel Forsey will begin to fully release a new limited edition of watches made in participation with micro-sculptor artist Willard Wigan. The watches will be known as "Greubel Forsey Art Pieces," and seem to be numerically numbered. The relationship might seem a bit strange at first but begins to make more sense as you think more about it. Wigan is known for making tiny art under a microscope. He is most well-known for creating scenes and figurines on the heads of nails and in pin holes. His creations take a lot of time and he is among the only people in the world who can do what he does. The watch makers at Greubel Forsey make mechanical art creations under a microscope, hand-assembling and decorating parts with incredible detail. They are among the few people in the world that can do what they do.My friend Joelle Diderich over at WWD in Paris gave a nice scoop on the collection. Her report sheds light on what Greubel Forey has planned. They anno
Hey, I posted the same thing on the Rolex forums for a rolex and on the omega forums. Basically my dad did some work for a guy and was given these watches as payment. I'd like to know what the price range is on it. I couldn't seem to find a Breitling that looks exactly like this one in my exhaustive Google search. The face says 'Breitling for Bentley', and around the edge of the face are the names of various cities. The band, which looks like cheap plastic to me, says ' Cuin (breitling symbol) Veritable' and has the numbers 27-20 and 80 on one side and it says Breitling on the other. The backplate says 'Chronometre Officiellment Certifie' 'Manufacture en Suisse Etanche 300m'It has a Breitling symbol with 1884 beneath it.Then the numbers E17370 in a box and 475656 under the box. Thanks!
Can anyone provide information on this pocketwatch movement, i.e, Calibre, when introduced, characteristics, etc.Any information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I had these shots posted over on the old forum, so I thought I'd repost them here. This is my Williams F1:One of these days, I'll set up the light box and take some better shots...
