GV Milgauss and Misc. Ramblings
Any thoughts on the relative scarcity of the GV at the retail level these days around the globe? I know it varies by geography, but I actually had the chance to buy 2 today from a couple of different ADs. Have they become that common? Also, anyone have some GV pics? Thanks.By the way, in our visits today....SS Daytonas, SDDSs, GVs, and just about every manner of otherwise unobtainable watches just sitting in the cases. Sorry, the GV was in the window. I can't believe it, but I actually passed on the first new SS Daytona I have ever seen for sale at an AD that was not already spoken for. I have to say, it was kind of a surreal experience for me just seeing all those grail watches just sitting there at multiple ADs - and of course having the ability to buy and pass on a SS Daytona like it was a DJ. Not sure I liked the sensation, actually. Sleepless nights at RUSA?-Ross

Just bought a 1956 automatic Bulova and an automatic Benrus at the antique store. Snapped some quick pics, take a look. On a side note, does anyone the approximate date of this Benrus. There isn't a serial number on the back, simply the letters "WR". Thanks guys!

need help with 50 year old watch
Hey guys i need some serious help.I have an old watch that my mother left to my daughter(heirloom) and I can't quite figure out the brand and having trouble taking pictures due to the gold in the face of the watch.the back of the watch says corletto italy 18kt, it is hard to make out the letters on the face of the watch but they look something like "lorett" or "larett" they are in cursive the watch is at the least of 45 years old.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
