- Bought for my son, and he really likes. Hard to evaluate the durability yet, but I bet it will be fine. Second watch I have bought from this brand and both have been very nice.

Jaeger LeCoultre 1732441 wrist watches news:
Hey Guys,My first post here (though I am on another popular watch board). After years of not wearing a watch at all I got into it early this year (thanks to the Orange Monster) and have really been enjoying it, thanks in part to the websites like this where I can read about watches and peoples experiences with them. So thanks to everyone who contributes. To me, Japanese watches offer a real sweet spot in the market. For a reasonable price you can get some nice pieces from companies with good history. Right now I have two Seikos and an Orient. I'd like to try a Citizen Eco-Drive, but can't find one whose looks I really dig.My next purchase may be the diver/pilot looking SRP043 (I'd get the bracelet version SRP043K1). I think that is a nice watch with real presence and possibly a bit of an upgrade over the Monster. Plus I think I could wear it with a much wider range of clothing including hopefully to work. It would be my biggest watch, but I think even at that size it looks class
I have a decent Seiko Lordmatic 5606-7050, Serial #994983 which is missing the snap on Crystal retainer Bezel Ring. The ring is: 31.43mm Inside x 32mm outside diameter. I was wondering if anyone has any spare rings for sale or trade?sundindu@hotmail

Hello All!I had the great fortune of acquiring my Forged Carbon Diver from one of our trusted dealers on TRF in late March, and if you saw it in person I think you'd agree with me that it is a fantastic look piece, quite different from most Offshores in a number of ways. Already in the short amount of time I've had it, we've already had some adventures together, but unfortunately it had to take a solo trip to APSC in Clearwater as well. At first I thought I was going crazy...perhaps I wave my hands/fist pump too frantically at concerts I wore it to or whatnot, but I noticed that my Diver kept gaining time. Sometimes a minute or two overnight. (I always sync my watches to the clock inside my iPhone to see how accurately they keep time)Although it was a new watch, I was a little cautious and sent it over to Betsy at APSC. Although they told me that it would take a little over a month to service, lo and behold, like my last Diver I had serviced (my Steel had to get a crown replacement) th
I read all the incoming posts but nobody every puts what they paid for the watch. Why is that? Don't say etiquette or it's in poor taste. It's the internet and here's goatsy, so please don't even bother. I'm seeing $7500 for a used explorer 2 on IG (when I bought mine BNIB for $6200 from a trusted seller)I'm seeing $8200 for a 2010 DJ2 when i can buy a BNIB DJ41 for $8400 today from a trusted seller. These prices are crazy and as the consumer it's up to us to take back the margins.Thoughts on that?
