Hi All,I am new to the Longines watch forum! I have just purchased a Longines Packer 1920's 18k curved case art deco style watch, I have been able to find out a small amount of info with regard to the packer as in green bay packers? not sure? anyway it's a cal 1086n and I could do with a couple of screws and the odd part but I suppose it will be a long wait!here are a few of the projects I have done over the years:speedmaster 125 (complete restoration)omega genevarolex 3035rolex 3135zenith elpremerospeedmaster mark 2omega 1040omega 1045porsche design valjoux the list goes on...any info would be helpful - thanks for reading
Esrange offered up a Benrus automatic in a thread a month ago. I have had Benrus 3 star models on my list for a while but couldn't find a good match on Ebay, so I jumped. A little polish and a crown later:A few case issues aside, the dial is spectacular, the crystal polished up better than average and after prying apart the rusted two-piece stem, it has responded well to a little TLC.Its hard to get a good shot of the movement with that big rotor always in the way.Special thanks to Esrange, Joel

So I just received my GMT and the bracelet is too big. I call the Omega Boutique closest to me and they said that they will not touch an Omega that was not purchased at an A.D. Is this normal? All I was wanting was some links taken out. Seems like a pretty crappy way to do buisness. So my question now is can someone point me in the right direction on how to do his my self? After doing some research, it seems that a 1.8mm screwdriver is the correct one. Is this true? Also, do I need to put Locktite on the screws before putting them back in the bracelet? Any help would be appreciated and thanks.
I have a reputable grey dealer who has the the SS SkyD with blue dial in stock. It is used. Full box and papers.Price is $23,000 USD.Too much?????
