U-Boat 1888 wrist watches news:
Okay, so my 1956 Seamaster is already doing funny things. When winding, it feels as though the mech is binding. The second hand now skips a couple of seconds every 12-15 seconds. Suggestions as to where to send it for service/repair and an original dial??
Last night I really tried to test the limits of the device's capabilities to "get close" with my Yacht-Master:Second hand:12 o'clock marker:Logo:A few of the movement through the display back:
Hello all I recently got this from Rob at toppers and wonderful transaction and watch. .very glad with it...just sharing the joy..changed to a brown strap and looks just as good as bracelet...i like to keep changing things. Some shots ,together with a friends LLD no-date which is another watch i love a lot.
I'm trying to locate a particular Seamaster Chronometer in an AD's case that's NOS and have a few questions. The specifics are:41mm caseStainlessOlder style bracelet (still used on Speedmaster)Non-colored stainless bezelBlue or black dial (and I don't care which style hour markers it has)Automatic (chronometer)Here are my questions:Does anyone know what the particular reference # is?Does anyone know the last year this particular version was produced?Did this version ever come as a coaxial? What was the MSRP during its final year of production? If both the coaxial and original versions were available, what were their respective prices? Thanks!
Got a call from Pam boutique today asking if I would like to purchase the new 590 coming end of this month. I really want to pull the trigger any objections?
