Jaeger LeCoultre 177.t4.7v wrist watches news:
It figures - the week I designate as 'Hamilton Week', nobody puts up a WRUW thread on Wednesday. Guess I'll have to do it myself!Today's Hamilton is a Peyton. This was my first vintage mechanical WW, and is the one that got me started collecting wristies.Sure, it's one of Hamilton's less interesting designs, but it's packing a 770, and keeps pretty darn good time for being 50 years old!
I've been looking around for a new watch and the Strela's have caught my eye lately. I need some feed back on reliability/time keeping and over all is this a good watch! Also, any other suggestions for a watch in the 300-500 range that fit the same build as the Strelas would be appreciated.Thank you
I got my Bond GMT Co-ax 1.5 years ago. The tag price was $4500 CAD back then. A couple of days before new year, I went to the same jeweller-A.D. to check the price tag. It was $4500 CAD, same as 1.5 years ago.Do you think Omega (Semaster Bond) prices would rise this year? Any idea? Any info and opinion?I will be very happy if you could enlighten me, please.Capt. Serdal
Hi.I hope that with all the knowledge on this forum somebody can help me with their experiences of owning and wearing an Orange leather strap on their Planet Ocean. At present mine, an Orange bezelled Chronogaph is on the Stainless steal bracelet. But I am getting very much into leather straps on my watches and wanted to buy the Orange leather on deployment as a change. My AD talked me out of it saying that he has had customers complaining that theirs are not wearing well, in fact the orange finish is coming off in places leaving white bleached leather beneath. I would like to find out if this is general fault with this colour strap before forking out ¡ê400 on one. Thanks Alan
Anyone know when Patek 59601A will be available at AD's?
