Jaeger LeCoultre Jaeger LeCoultre 4539 wrist watches news:
Earlier this week, Apple finally released details regarding the pricing and launch dates of its eagerly anticipated Apple Watch. As Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed earlier, the watch will go on sale in April, so no surprises there. What¡¯s surprising, however, is the price of the Apple Watch. Without revealing too much at this point, the prices of some variants of the Apple Watch are a tad on the high side. If you want to find out more, be sure to read our article below which summarizes everything you need to know about the Apple Watch.Apple Watch aside, we also got the chance to finally see Patek Philippe¡¯s epic Grandmaster Chime watch in the flesh. Questionable styling aside, this is Patek Philippe¡¯s most complicated watch ever, so does it live up to expectations? Apart?from the Grand Master Chime, we also had a closer look at some other very exquisite high-end pieces including Greubel Forsey¡¯s new Tourbillon 24 Seconds Vision and F.P. Journe¡¯s Quanti¨¨me Perp¨¦tuel watch. Finally, we also
This week's Bring A Loupe will feature some seriously dreamy watches. So expect a couple of stunning Universal Geneve chronographs and another three equally appealing Patek Calatravas. We will also explain what is wrong with the dial of an otherwise very funky Rolex. This is your Bring A Loupe for October 2, 2015. A Chronograph With Calendar And Moonphase Complications From Universal Geneve 1 OF 12 This Tri-Compax really underlines what makes Universal Geneve chronographs so great: their neat aesthetic. The case has interesting lugs, the bezel looks good, but frankly the dial steals the show. In theory, there was no way the dial should have managed to hold a triple calendar, a three-register chronograph, a moonphase and some lines of text for the brand and reference, all in a 36 mm case! Yet, Universal Geneve nailed the perfect design that allows everything to look balanced and sexy. If you add that the movement – caliber 281 – is in fact in-house,

More vintage questions...Well, I recently purchased my first vintage Hamilton, an automatic, and I'm pretty sure it won't be my last. I really don't know to much about the mechanical end of watches, but I like to tinker, and I'd like to learn some basic watch repair. Nothing to crazy, just removing crystals, movements, hands, etc. While I wouldn't touch my already restored vintage auto, there are plenty of cheap vintage Hamiltons out there that I could experiment with and maybe even help resurrect. So where does somebody learn watch repair and where can you get the tools? And who do you guys use for your vintage restoration projects, a local guy or somebody on the net? Is your guy a one-stop shop, where they do they do everything from dial restoration to crystal replacement to fixing the movements, or are they different shops?
I just got a ROO RC Rose and I cant stand the clasp. Pretty uncomfortable, my IWC yacht club's rubber band and deployant is pretty amazing. I am currently using it at the first pin hole, the clasp sits on the side of my wrist. I already tried the flipping backwards technique, even though it helps a little, its still not as comfortable as I would like. The AD said its about 220 for a smaller rubber strap, has anyone tried this? Any alternatives? I like the OEM strap...
