Omega Omega 6207 wrist watches news:
They made it! On October 28, the climbers reached the top. St¨¦phane Schaffter, a Swiss alpinist, Lhakpa Tenzing Sherpa (known as Apa Sherpa) who has a record 19 Everest ascents under his belt, and Little Karim Balti, who has accompanied many sportsmen on expeditions above 8,000 meters, scaled the virgin peak, and as the first to the top, they named it Antoine LeCoultre¡¯s Peak. The mountain raises 6589 meters, or 21,617 feet above sea level. They were each wearing a Jaeger-LeCoultre timepiece: a 1958 Geophysic Chronometer, a Master Compressor Extreme Lab, and a new and as yet undisclosed extreme creation prepared by the Manufacture workshops in the Vall¨¦e de Joux. Their watches performed admirably in the challenging conditions. You can read more about the expedition at the Jaeger-LeCoultre website. Here are some images from the expedition:
We battle it out over the coolness or lameness of the Morgenwerk Satellite Precision watches. We then talk about the final versions of the HYT H1 hydromechanical watch, as well as the awesome new Jaeger-LeCoultre AMVOX 7 Chronograph. Then we try to understand and sum up the new watch brand by, and featuring his royal undeadness, Karl Lagerfeld.Listen to the HourTime Show Watch Podcast Episode 122 here. Download the MP3.
Well I'm watching a show on Howard Hughes and they are talking about stuff he liked and would collect, and all they said was "Hughes was intrigued by many things, motors, planes, cars, and fine watches". That was it, they didn't say what brand or what style other aviator and dress.Does anyone have any ideas on what he had in his collection and what he wore?
Looking for some help...did all 5110 world timers come with both a sapphire and solid case back, or did it depend on the metal?
