SKX173 issues
I have a Seiko SKX173 that I love the look and size of. It seems to be a perfect fit for my wrist and my lifestyle. The only issue that I have come across is that I am not sure that I am supposed to tell time with it. The thing gains a minute a day. In a week, I am early to everything. I am about to throw it out the window. Any ideas on what I can do before I go postal on it?B

50345134511051305131Which is your favorite Patek multi-time-zone watch ?.....and why ?- 5034- 5134- 5110- 5130- 5131...for me it's between 5110 and 5131....with a slight edge going to good ole' 5110.As much as I am fascinated by the beauty and rarity of enamel dial on 5131, when it comes to pure elegance and classic look - 5110 is the World-timer of my choice....just curious what other members of this forum like and why?..

Complications: where do they rank?
Having lurked for a long while(with only the smallest break in the lurking), I had a question I'd wondered about. Having been looking back in time to page 100+ in the forums, I feel there's less wider-ranging horological discussion than there is individual watch discussion, with mostly "Look at what I bought" and "What should I buy" threads tending to be most common(as much as I know we all like to look at shiny things).So, tiny comment aside, the real question is this: What seems the be the general "ranking" of complications in terms of most difficult to implement? I know there are almost innumerable complications, ranging from the esteemed (gyro)tourbillon to an automatic winding system, which is so common as to barely be considered a complication at all, but what would you guys consider the general difficulty levels to be?PS: Feel free to add any strange ones as well that you consider interesting or unique as well, like the rotor power reserve on the Blancpain L-Evolution Tourby. potential first AP purchase
Hi everyone, I wanted to get your opinions on something.. considering a 15400st grey dial from a local watch store.. they're not an AP AD but they're a rolex, breitling etc AD.. they have a pre owned 15400st for sale for $13k but no box or papers! Is it worth getting without b&p or should i wait and spring for one with.. but that price just seems really good... I havent seen the watch or any 15400's in person yet (was talking to them about steel sky dwellers and they mentioned they had that grey 15400)... but all the pictures i've seen and feedback on the 15400st has made me really like it and want one! it would be my first AP watchOriginally I was considering the 42mm ROO's.. but had a couple opportunities to try them on and it just didnt do anything for me... was also considering the RO chrono panda, love that dial, but is it worth springing more money for? 15400 seems like a classic and in house movement is always a plus so is it worth spending more for a chrono and non AP movem
