Ok all....Taking a cue from Neonracers "Disappointed in a grail watch" thread, let's take a slightly different approach..Which grails have you bought that you love & fawn over as much or more than you did the day you bought it? Which grail has exceeded your grail-status & exceeded your hopes & expectations?I've only bought 1 true grail. I've got a couple on the list, but this is the only one I've been able to buy...I'd been wanting a 18K sport watch for quite awhile, and was looking at several models / brands. I finally narrowed it down to the Breitling Headwind. Something dressy yet still sporty enough to wear with jeans. But it was discontinued in '05, and not that many 18K's were made. So I started the search. Finally, after 6 months & hundreds of hours of searching I finally found oneIt's only been about 4 months now, but I still get the warm & fuzzies every time I strap it on. So, what's yours? Do you have a grail you've bought that has exceeded what ev
Over the weekend my I series diver will stop working from not wearing it. However the watch will not startup again when I wear it again. Regardless of the time, I can wear it for couple of days still the watch will move a few seconds when I shake it vigorously then stop again. I can get it start by rotating the crown when adjusting the time.Is it normal? All my other automatic watches start up within a few minutes of wearing.
Hi allNew here. Saw quite a few discussion on the white dial Nautilus and quite a few have actually tried them on. Have tried to find it at my local ADs, and grey-dealers are not willing to unseal them for try on.Very much love an owner's review and opinion (if any). Whoever who had tried it on and considered buying it and end up not doing it, any particular reason.Personally, I like the blue dial for it's history, the way it change colour. Similarly, like the white dial for it's freshness and the way it make the watch looks younger. And the worse part is thinking what if they release the black/grey dial (as in the one on 5726) on the Nautilus next year. Any thoughts, opinion is more than welcome.
