On Orient's site, a watch that I really like has been out of stockit is the Sapphire Sky automatic. I finally found one and it is on its way in all it brand new glory. It uses the Orient Caliber ET46B.

De-magnetizing a watch
Could someone please briefly describe how this process works? Does the watch need to be opened up, or is it as simple as making a pass or two with a de-gausser on the outside of the watch? If I take the watch to a repair shop, could I expect to have this done while I wait?Thanks for any info.
