Jaeger LeCoultre 176 84 70 wrist watches news:
On the eve of the Corum wand is a classic art deco-inspired timepiece. Designed for these women who appreciate a watch rather thin and elegant, this Corum timepieces is suitable for occasions of dressiest. The rectangular case stainless steel has a high polished finish, which works perfectly accentuate Top Wesselton diamonds which are fixed on the bezel.
Mr Diver from Cincinnati gave me an idea for this thread in his reply to my question about whether we use our watches for work.As y'all know, watches can pick up a lot of the grime that exists in most of our environments. While I don't take my watches apart, by which I mean bracelet and clasp ( not the case!! ) I do give whatever I'm wearing a rinse after each morning run or at least every two days under a tap of luke warm water. How about you pals and what do you do?Y'all have a nice day now ZIN
Do my two Longines have model names? The first photo is a solid white gold, calibre 22L and dates to 1952. The second is a solid yellow gold, calibre 22L and dates to 1951, it also has a faceted crystal. I know that generically one would call them Tanks, but I just wondered if they had specific names. Thanks guys, Norm
Hey guys!I bought this 1901 Transition Waltham on ebay about a week ago and it arrived early this morning (whoohoo, the mailman came early today!)I was sort of stumped when it came to the case material of this Illinois Watch Case Company "Arrow", the "Arrow" name was not in my list of names for IWCC cases. I thought that it would be 10k gold filled possibly but it turns out that it is just a gold colored base metal of some sort, it does NOT appear to be gold chrome plated so I am still kind of stumped on that front. Anyway, this transformation from an absolute piece of junk to an absolutely beautiful antique American wrist watch took me about 10 hours of non-stop work. The original transition Roman numeral dial was in rather bad condition, it had several hairline cracks and scratches and one of the dial feet was broken off so that one when in the scrap bin. I was going to use a nice 17 jewel Riverside that I have been saving but SALLY made me think twice about this decision. She really
My wife is interested in the DateJust 178240 - 31mm with Rhodium dial. Retail in Canada is $7100 cad and got quoted $6200 cad. So about 13% off. Is that a good deal or can I try to get more discount.I found the same sales guy that sold me my Date Sub 12 yrs ago. My Sub retail at the time was about $6250 cad and bought for $5100 cad (about 18% off).Questions:1. Is $6200 a good price for the DateJust ?2. Is the 2235 movement current ?3. Any changes to DateJust soon ?4. Is April a good month to buy ?I don't know too much about DateJust. Sorry if questions seem a bit dumb.
