Jaeger LeCoultre 141.84.30 wrist watches news:
In 1986 a man had a genius idea to wear a clock around his neck. That man was Mr. William Jonathan Drayton Jr. otherwise known as the musician Flavor Flav. This remarkable idea became a signature look of his on and off-stage persona. So much so that one today cannot separate the man from the clock. In 1984 Flavor Flav was part of the new musical group Public Enemy. Who, in the latter part of the 1980s helped usher in the era of hip hop and rap into the mainstream through socially aware songs and a energetic sound which offered a suitably fascinating contrasting sound which complimented rock and roll as the music of choice for an entire generation.Unbeknownst to himself, Flavor Flav is a frequent topic of discussion and reference point in the watch lover community. His large, neck-worn timepieces offer a fantastic comparison point when attempting to phrase, in real-world terms, the hyperbolistic size of a large wrist watch.? Without this cultural icon, watch lovers everywhere would be i
Every year, Hamilton releases one wild, limited edition watch to generate buzz, show what they can do and, I honestly think, to have some fun. Last year's Face 2 Face is a good example of the latter. Not really a watch (or watches, to be correct) that I imagine anyone would wear, but a great conversation piece for the brand. The year before that, they made their great hand wound Khaki Navy Marine, which came with a gimbaled deck box. We reviewed the open edition of that, the Khaki Navy Pioneer Automatic, which is still one of our favorites from the brand.Last Basel, they announced the Khaki Takeoff Automatic Chronograph, which when I, and I think most others, first saw, really got our attention. Sure, their 2014 line had plenty of nice pieces, but this one stood out. It was bold and aggressive, with a bullhead design, black case and yellow highlights. Frankly, it didn't look quite like a Hamilton at first, though the flavors of their aviation watches do come through. The watch also had
Hi Guys,Just joined the forum. I recently say the Chronomat B01 for the first time and am very tempted to get one. I was not a real fan of Breitling but this watch has me rethinking things. I have done some research and the reviews have been good.If I do go ahead and purchase it, how much off retail would be reasonable from a AD. From past post about Breitling, it seems 30-40% off but with the new model does that still apply? Just talking to the AD, they already offered 25% off. Any thoughts would be helpful.ThanksTexasHawk
Can the original Mesh from a PO2500 fit onto the new PO8500?I am thinking of gettin rid of the new original bracelet that the PO8500 came in and buy the Mesh from Omega to put it on her. Does this work in terms of fit and look?Just wonder if there are any differences in lug shape that may cause a wrong fit?In the looks department, is the Mesh too manly for the dressier overall look of the new PO8500?For easy reference:Both the PO2500 (ref: 2201.52.00) and so is the new ceramic bezel-ed PO8500 (ref: 232.30.42.21.01.001) is 42mm dia with 20mm lug width.
This selection keeps my covered for most any situation. Please share yours, and is your methodolgy diversity, focus on 1 style or metal, brand focused etc. I suspect we all try and convince ourselves that some method is behind the madness.
