Jaeger LeCoultre Jaeger LeCoultre 9728 wrist watches news:
Here in the watches-dealer watch dungeon, we are currently putting the new for 2013 Clerc Hydroscaph H1 watch through our rigorous watch testing procedures. So a hands-on review of the H1 will come in due time, but until then we'd like to share the news about this new three-hand version of the Clerc Hydroscaph, which is the H1.There will likely be a few versions of the H1. This is the steel model with a really lovely metallic blue dial. I wouldn't have thought that a bright green trimmed minutes hand would have worked, but it does. The 44mm wide case is typical Hydroscaph with its unique design and patented rotating bezel locking system (that unfolds like a little winding key). The crown design appears to be new and is rather interesting.Inside the watch is a Clerc caliber C609 automatic movement that is a base ETA with special decoration and is partially viewable through two smaller sapphire crystal caseback windows. The movement is COSC Chronometer certified as well. Not necessary re
John continues to be finicky about what he likes, we talk about a cool new watch from RSW - and the perfect timepiece for those Dungeons & Dragons lovers out there (hint, your character will improve its armor class by wearing this watch). I recently got a 14k gold ladies Bulova (see thread in the Bulova sub forum). The movement doesn't wind and I can see some rust on it. Not terrible, but some.I was wondering if I could take the movement by itself, submerge it in some water in an ultrasonic cleaner and use that to clean it, and maybe free up the movement?I've never taken a watch movement apart, let alone one this small! I'm interested in learning how to clean and service my own watches, I've had...less than stellar experience with the local 'watch repairmen' Here's the Bulova in questionAnd here's the movement, you can see the rust
I know I will be in the minority but, after trying on the DJ41 I was left a little underwhelmed. For me I prefer the size of the DJ2, this may be due to it being a little thicker like my beloved Milguass, coupled with the stunning blue azzurro/roman dial.Would I be right in assuming that there would be plenty of these models still in their displays and, with this in mind, do you think I could obtain a good discount? - So far I have been offered 5% bringing the price down to ¡ê4988.
Hello all...Have come across 1 my fave watches of all time second hand in a high end watch retailer...It is a 2012 daytonaC rose gold with box and papersAnd is going for ¡ê16450. I may be able to get it for 16k.Do you guys think this is a good second hand price? I know depends on condition but im guessing its 9/10 minimum as all their watches are top quality. How much do tou guys think i would lose on that if god forbid 1 day i had to sell it?Cheers pic below
