Burberry Aviator Watch
I see one advantage to this watch really. You get that look of a classic aviator with the Burberry name - if that tickles you the right way. Burberry is a pretty good brand that sorta went over-the-top like Louis Vuitton. Not sure when it was, but at some point Louis Vuitton just went nuts with the "monogram" showing up on everything from change purses and shoes, to probably shower caps. Burberry is on their way there, but with plaid - so much plaid. But as far as hideous plaid goes, at least the Burberry stuff looks good. I'd settle for a nice Burberry overcoat with all the plaid on the inside.Look closely and you'll see lots of little things that take this aviator style watch into a new direction. It looks different on many angles. This includes the curved lugs, different font used for the hour indicators, and the crown that is actually decently rendered. how do I know which Airman Base 22 has 24hr movement?
I'm looking to pick up a Base 22, but from what I read there is a 12hr GMT (preferable) version and a 24hr 'purist' version (not a deal-breaker). Is each of the four options (3887.11/GA-LB7 - 3887.19-LB9 - 3887.11/66-LB9 - 3887.18/66-1) available in one of the two movements? Or are they four separate movement versions? As far as I can tell, 3887.11/66-LB9 and 3887.18/66-1 are missing the GMT hand - are these the purist versions? I'm most interested in the 3887.19-LB9 black dial version. Thanks!

Photographing Time
I know everyone's saying " if there's no pics then it's not true". There is a short story called "Augie Wren's Christmas Story" written by Paul Auster. Awesome story which they made into a movie called "Smoke" in 1995( one of my all time favorites). In it Augie stands at a street corner every morning at precisely the same time and takes one snapshot of the same corner building and the intersection every day for many many years. To the untrained eye it is thousands of the same picture yet if you took the time and carefully studied it you'd see a thousand differences, and this he called his life's work (photographing both Human time And Natural time). Kinda relates to WIS and how nonWIS might look at them and wonder "what is so interesting about staring at the inner workings of a time piece, they're all the same"? Difference between 5726A and 5726/1A
Hi, just wondering what else is different between these two besides bracelet/strap?I saw the movement pictures on 5726A(strap version), it shows 324/303, and on 5726/1A(bracelet version), it shows 324. I thought the movement inside these two are the same.Thanks.
