Citizen watches will follow-up the very impressive Eco-Drive Satellite Wave F100 watch (hands-on review here) from 2014 with this 2015 Citizen Eco-Drive Satellite Wave F900 watch that adds additional functionality and only marginally increases the case thickness. Each of the initial Citizen Eco-Drive Satellite Wave F900 watches will further be part of a limited edition and even offer some case durability upgrades. If you liked the Citizen Eco-Drive Satellite Wave F100 and wanted just a bit more to push you over the edge in making a purchase, the Citizen Eco-Drive Satellite Wave F900 might be the piece that makes you pull the trigger on this great-looking GPS watch.Citizen and Seiko are battling head-to-head again for dominance in the sophisticated-looking GPS watch market. Seiko has their Astron collection, while Citizen has the Satellite Wave series. Citizen just upped the ante a bit with the Citizen Eco-Drive Satellite Wave F900 by not only adding new features, but making the movemen
We all know that in 1969, Heuer launched three watches using their caliber 11, self-winding chronograph: the Carrera, Monaco, and Autavia. In the very earliest of advertisements for these advanced watches, they appeared with a few unique traits, and all lacked any model name on the dial. The thing is, Heuer enthusiasts never knew if these watches actually existed, if they were simple drawings for the sake of advertising, or if they were prototypes long since destroyed. Well, late last night, the Heuer nuts over at OnTheDash published a story about a collector who discovered the very watch you see to the right – arguably one of the first three self-winding chronographs made by Heuer, or anyone.Click through for the full story. 2 OF 2
Only a few short weeks ago we all saw the release of the perpetual calendar 5320G and my first reaction was not good! In fact you may have read about my initial gut reaction here... Now, I'm suddenly starting to come around to the overall look of the watch. What's wrong with me?? untitled.jpgThe vintage look of the watch definitely has something to do with it as I like classic watches. In fact some of my fellow forum member friends call me an old man although I am not even in my 40s yet! The similarities (no offense to the purists!) with the grail reference 3450 is likely another culprit. I was lucky enough to handle a 3450 that Mr. Bain had a couple of years ago and it is magic with incredible elegance and simplicity. Sadly these are not within striking range for the time being.3450.jpgWhether one could live with the incredible amount of luminous material on the dial of the 5320, the syringe hands (which are certainly an acquired taste), the larger case and the less than impressive vi
Simply an amazing timepiece. Some amazing lume shots are included in the post to make things more interesting. .watchcollectinglifestyle....es-and-pricingEnjoy!!!
Tried on the 116618LN at an AD today and it looked so nice. The deep black dial against the YG was an awesome combo. Wondered if anyone wore a YG sub as a daily, because if I bought one, I think it would command most of my wrist time. Would anyone consider trading a SS white SkyD and SD4K or 16710?Anyone out there using a yellow gold sub as a daily?Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
