Jaeger LeCoultre Q273212A wrist watches news:
I wish this watch was about 20% larger. The Tuxedo is a great looking watch, but for me it is sadly just too small to wear. Another great 14K case by Solidarity.
Good morning everyone! I'm in need of a bit of help, I think I'd like to buy a vintage Omega Seamaster from a friend but I can't seem to google exactly the information I'm looking for to make a wise decision. It's running but of course not real well, and the face is pretty grungy. Well without further ado ... Here he is: I really like the watch. I'm assuming it's a calibre 354 and then the serial number will somehow date it. I'm used to Rolex, so much easier to date and research. I'll certainly get rid of the speidel band ..... lol, or does that make the watch? Thanks for any help I can get. I just love these old pieces. Needless to say: it was a moment in time. Does anyone know if Patek launch their new models the opening day of Basel, a few days before for the press? And who plans to go there? I will probably have to come back in France for business in March if I can I would like to try to go, is it possible to order a model there or is it just to introduce them to the watch loonies like us?My wife has a cousin who lives on the french side very close to Basel like this she could see her cousin and I could go see Patek.Do you need special invitations or you just need to pay the entrance? Thanks for your replies
So this week I will be going to pick out a new watch to add to my collection. I currently have a Pepsi gmt master and am looking for something that I can dress up but that can also be worn everyday. My initial thought was a date just 41 in blue or white with domed bezel (undecided on bracelet) or a white Buckley dial. I also have a soft spot for a reverso but I think this might be too dressy for what I'm looking for. I have sold off everything and am committed to having a two watch rotation until my kids stop costing me a fortune. I know the decisions lies with me yadda yadda...But I love hearing the opinions of this great community. Makes me think about things I didn't consider. Merry Christmas to those who celebrate.
