- I was looking for an inexpensive, easy to read/operate watch that I could hang off a strap on my backpack since I personally don't like wearing watches. This is an attractive timepiece, large face, very easy to read! The metal band is very shiny which is also a nice feature.

Days until the GTG!
One of my favourite complications is a GMT/World Time complication. And since Longines is one of my favourite brands I was interested in looking at their world timer. I have not had a chance to see one in the flesh yet, but I have to admit that I am a bit underwhelmed by this watch. I hope that it is the typical bad photos that they tend to put up, as I was not impressed by their Conquest and Hydro Conquest ranges until a saw a better picture, perhaps that is the case here as well.I guess I had better sort out what it is that leaves me a bit flat with this watch. First, the size. It is listed as 38.5mm, which is just under my comfort zone for watches. Some watches do wear larger, and this one may, but its size is not a positive for me.I'm also not sure whether I like the dial colour scheme or not. Normally I love a white dial, but this one does nothing for me. It could be the semicircular blue ring in the 24 hour inner ring, I'm not sure, but it doesn't do much for me. Perhaps if this
Hello everyone, I am new to the forum. There is so much great info here, so I look forward to hearing what everyone has to say regarding my issue...I am currently on assignment in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and while driving down the street the other day I saw a giant Breitling sign. I have been very casually in the market for an Emergency for a few years now, but since I have never been to an actual Breitling store before, I figured there was no time like the present. They have both the Emergency and the Emergency Mission. The dealer quoted me $4,933.00 for an Emergency Mission with a rubber strap. I prefer the look of the Mission over the standard Emergency, however I guess the real question is...because the Emergency mission has been discontinued, does this make it more valuable or less valuable? Also, it is obvious he does not sell many Emergency watches, as he had 6 total, 3 of them being Missions. The Emergency Mission was discontinued over 2 years ago wasn't it?The $4933 price was aft
A new 312!Steve
