- I recommend the watch. It's a very attractive piece to add to my collection. Very interesting with the skeleton and the blue hands. It lacks features because of the skeleton design, but makes up for it in uniqueness.

Jaeger LeCoultre 270.1.62 wrist watches news:
Been poking around the forums and have been reading an interesting thread about dress watches on the Omega thread. The overall consensus with the Omega boys - but by no means an absolute - is that a dress watch should be plain of face and on a leather strap - the De Ville range seems to fit the bill. However, if you are a Breitling DieHard which Breitling really fits the bill as a dress watch?
Hi everyone, I would like to say that while this is my first post on this forum, I have always been reading all the contributions from all the so-knowledgeable people here. It is always a pleasure to see how much passion and knowledge is in this forum and the fact that a Patek is not a discussion as an investment (God forbid!) but rather as a second (or third or fourth) wife!I would like your opinions on the above 3 watches which my AD has offered to me. I personally like the 5139G but has an inclination towards the newer 5960R for a more modern look. The 5140J is also a beautiful watch in my opinion. Generally speaking, I actually prefer my watches to be in white gold or platinum as I tend to wear my watches on a daily basis rather than to keep them locked up. A rose gold watch is more dressy and, I think, more suitable for the occasional wear. The 5960P is not available here.Of these 3 watches, in terms of availability, which one is the volume seller? I was told the 5960R as this is

Hi guys! I've been coming to this site and been reading up on watches for the past few months. It's amazing how much you can learn from listening to other watch enthusiasts. Currently, I have a Burberry watch, BU1350, obviously not as nice as some of the other watches I've seen here but you have to start with something to start your collection. I've been looking around here for a new watch to buy but unfortunately I guess you need so many posts to send PMs so here I am posting my #1. Maybe you guys can help out with my next watch:Looking for something more clean, classy/formal likeunder $600-700, black or brown straps (already have a SS with the Burberry), and nothing TOO huge...Throw out some suggestions people!
First post on the forums! I've been a member since November but have been lurking and learning a whole lot. Went from a set of forgettable Movados to a small collection of timepieces that serve very specific purposes in my simple life: right now I have a 3940P, 5711/1A, 3919J and a Rolex 114270. The people in this forum helped a whole lot in terms of helping me field sources, choosing between ADs and greys, etc. - for this, many, many thanks!I'm looking to add another piece to my set and I'm faced with an interesting decision:1. The 5036/1G - annual calendar in white gold. I like the metal bracelet (helps that it's a whole lot of gold, too), and I love the calendar and moonphase function. Metal bracelets would be very welcome when things heat up during the Spring and summer - leather straps just don't last given my sweat patterns and volume!2. The 5040J - tonneau case perpetual calendar. To lower the price and make it comparable to the 5036/1G option I'll need to trade in my 391
