I sent it back. I did not like with way it curved around my wrist. It kept turning around and was very uncomfortable. If I put it tighter it caused sweating under the face and strap and that was worse.

Say hello to another independent American watch brand. This time from raging New Orleans. Sounds like a place with enough history to support a watch brand. The marque is simply called the New Orleans Watch Company - and the pieces have a distinct feel to them that is both decorative and celebratory - a lot like New Orleans I suppose.The watches don't seem to have model names. What I gather is that each is made to order per the customer's wishes. That equals expensive. The pieces have a very artisan feel to them versus being made in sophisticated CNC machines and alike. Seen in this article are a few versions of the New Orleans Watch - you can see how the parts can be mixed up with various materials. I don't actually know the case size of the pieces either.The cases look like parts from old furniture. Actually a lot of the watches are seemingly made from old furniture. First Boutique Visit...
Today, I had the pleasure of trying on the beautiful, gorgeous, stunning PAM 676. (Won't use any more adjectives) Today made a quick trip to NYC. Left 8:55 got there 10:10am First stop parking garage west 66th street. $25 bucks with coupon. Can't beat it! Then walked through lovely Central Park. By myself ofcoarse being the watch obsessed, investing wiz, warren buffet aspirant I am. Then the Panerai boutique! MY FIRST TIME! Then the very courteous associate allowed me to try on the new model PAM 676 and also the PAM 1312. Then they offered me the most amazing espresso and a bottled water to compliment the fine beverage. Although I didn't end up purchasing anything, which I did state as soon as I walked in the boutique as a courtesy to the associate. It was a fantastic day because my very good friend was selected by Patek Phillipe for an interview as a watchmaker. So now it's round 2 for him! At the end of the meet up, him and another business connection met up and we ate Chick-fil-a.

Daytona 116500 on a racing strap
As I am fortunate to have both white and black SS Daytonas, I decided to play around with my black dial Daytona and put it on a black leather racing strap.
