Hamilton X-Mach: Are You Moving Faster Than Sound?
Hamilton’s new 44mm X-Mach lets you measure an aircraft’s speed relative to that of sound – Hamilton calls this the “Machmeter” feature. To perform this feat however, you need to be sitting in the cockpit. Pilots set the pressure altitude (PA) and calibrated air speed (CAS) measured by the aircraft’s instruments by turning the right crown of the watch to reveal the Mach number in ISA (International Standard Atmosphere) conditions on the bezel. Consistent with its mission, the X-Mach is designed to capture the look of aircraft instruments. Both variations (stainless steel with or without black PVD) have a smooth black dial with silver-colored indices and matching counter frames. The case features carbon fiber inserts and white or black numerical markings around the bezel. The case back offers a display window in the approximate shape of a Star Trek insignia, allowing you to catch a glimpse of the ETA 7750 automatic movement inside. The dial has a cut-

Scored a new 2255.80, and am really digging this thing. Might even break out the camera for some better pics. Anyways, been eye-balling this watch for awhile, and am glad to finally own it.

OK, so it doesn't really scream exciting, but it's one of those watches that you just need to have in your collection. I saw it on the shortlist of 10 Ultimate wristwatches and I instantly knew I had to have it!I dunno what it is about these retro watches, but lately, I've just been really drawn towards them. Anyway, without further adieu, I present to you the Casio A164WA-1:Interestingly, its made in Thailand, and not Japan, as I had thought.Obligatory wrist shot:All in all, I'm pretty happy with the purchase and even though this watch may or may not get much wrist time in the future, it's gonna be a keeper! Besides, for around $33 shipped, you can't really complain

Vintage Omega Devilles
Hey guys i was just wondering how many of you own/owned vintage Omega Deville watches. For starters, here is my 1960 calibre 600 in stainless steel.

Anyone else surprised not to see this on the PP website?
By this I mean the advanced research 5650G, I love it, unfortunately my AD's is already going to another client, and anyways can't justify getting another watch this year, the 5711 and Daytona will have already done a dent in my watch budget, but not too big, but the Vouti has been paid upfront 70% and still need to add 30% to get that bad boy, so adding the 30% plus 52.000 CHF for the Aquanaut on top is quite impossible this year, too bad as I really find it very interesting.
