- Bought my husband this watch for Valentine's Day. Hewas absolutely thrilled. He collects watches, and never had one which attached to the belt. He is an avid fisherman, so this will really come in handy. Thank you for such an exclusive duct.

Longines L3.676.4.16.6 wrist watches news:
We begin this round-up with a feature story on watch servicing and repair. Yup, servicing and repair, two words that we watch collectors and enthusiasts?absolutely dread ¨C and yet, it is an?inevitable and essential part of?owning a fine watch. As sure as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, parts will become worn over time and oils will dry up as the days pass. The best way to deal with this, then, is understanding when and how to intervene ¨C?knowing?exactly what goes on when a watch gets serviced and what are the things that we should look out for when the time comes for us to send our watches in.Servicing aside, we are also taking a look at the history of chronographs, in particular, the monopusher kind. Today, it seems that brands are keen to impress us by communicating how?monopushers are somehow superior or more exclusive than your common two-pusher chronograph watch. Well, the simple fact is they aren¡¯t. Not only are they less functional, the monopusher chronograph act
An interesting watch caught my eye - Sinn U1. Good reviews, looks well and solid. What is the best place (best prices) to get one of these (new)?
posted with their permission :)Ooohh, what's that dark watch in the yellow frield??Yep, you guessed it: A Black Steel Blackbird!Decided to take a group photo with my 2 watches...Note: I was actually hesitant to post these pics, but I figured the extra blackbird exposure will insure that someone else besides myself will pick it up, thereby sparing me the wrath of the wife...
Had some time to hit the mall tonight in an upscale area of town and shop some national and local jewelers. The three which carried Hamiltons wouldn't budge off retail. The fourth jeweler didn't carry Hamilton watches, but had Tag Heuers, Tissots, and Ray Weils. The lady clerk there was willing to deal. Tags aren't my style, so strike one. She didn't have any Maestro RW's, so no luck there. Of the Tissot's, I owned 2 of the 3 automatic models on display, and the third was something I'd never wear (ugliest Tissot I've ever seen). Just out of curiosity, I asked how much she wanted for a black dial Powermatic 80 model and she came in within $90 of some internet sellers.Business must be booming to stick to retail. Sad thing is, if they would have offered a decent price on the lower end Jazzmasters, I would have bought it on the spot. Too bad the place with the Tissot's didn't have a Visodate in stock, I would have taken that instead.
My AD had sent my wife and I a gift card for a local resturant in the mail the other day. I responded with a thank you text and inquired about their inventory, after reading about all the lack of new products that this site has mentioned, especially in regards to the SS professional line. I also inquired about the Hulk and DeepSea JC pieces which are the top two that I have a shot of getting any time soon. She said she had a DSea JC in the store but it was already spoken for, but I could come by and see it if I wanted too.Well it turns out that yesterday afternoon my wife and I had gotten some good news after meeting with our Finanical Planner about how well our retirement planning was looking... So I took the wife out to dinner to celebrate and of course you can see where this is heading. We stopped by our local AD to see the DeepSea after dinner and a couple of drinks, and to make a long story short she said if you are interested I can put you on the list for the next one, you woul
