To how much abuse have you subjected your Planet Ocean?
If you've owned a Planet Ocean for a few years or more, your experience would be helpful to me in making a near-term purchase decision. My current daily wear watch is a recent model Submariner Date. I wear it almost constantly, whether I'm in the office, swimming at the beach, doing light wood chopping when I camp, or rough-housing w/ my 9-year-old and his buddies. I'm not necessarily looking for an "Omega versus Rolex" debate here, but, rather, simply wanted to share my frame of reference in terms of a not inexpensive watch that I view as completely durable and don't want to feel I have to baby. Now I'm considering the purchase of a new Planet Ocean which would alternate or maybe even replace this watch as my primary wear piece. But I don't want to feel like I have to be any more gentle with it. I don't want to worry about the watch stopping or the bracelet coming undone. I know about the outside A/R, so I've already accepted that issue (altho I'd be happy to hear stories about that a

I'm looking at buying either the 5111G or the 5111PR. Im just not sure about how the rose gold along the the top and bottom of the face looks on the 5111PR. It looks a bit busy compared to a clean 5111G. Also, I wonder about which one holds their resale value better? Any thoughts?
