Longines L36944036 wrist watches news:
The “F” in MB&F stands for “friends” ¡ª and the iconoclastic, independent watch brand’s circle of friends expanded last night, as WatchTime, in partnership with London Jewelers and MB&F, hosted an exclusive private dinner with Max B¨¹sser (the “MB”), owner and creative director of MB&F. Twenty collectors were treated to a three-course dinner, along with cocktails and Champagne at the ever-elegant The Mark by Jean-Georges restaurant on Manhattan¡¯s Upper East Side. (MB&F’s “robo-clock,” Melchior ¡ª something of a mascot for the brand ¡ª was also in attendance.)The highlight of the evening was B¨¹sser¡¯s inspirational and candid presentation on his childhood and early interest in the watch industry. I need some of your expertise. I bought a 5960/1A when it first came out. I love it as much today as the day I bought it. However, I've only worn it a handful of times. It's just not getting the wrist time and I don't see that changing. And while I enjoy seeing it in it's home, it's there all of the time. So, I'm thinking I may sell it. With that, do any of you connoisseurs think that this watch will greatly appreciate over time (i.e. once they stop making it) -- or should I just sell it and I'll have no financial regrets in your opinion?Yes, I know I could wear it more, but let's assume that's not an option. Thanks for the input as always!
Thanks for all the input in the which annual calendar thread! I went with my heart and this piece landed in the collection yesterday. Genta lives on!
Dear all,Sincere question to the experts around here. Why the price for BLNR is more than the retail price from the Rolex website?Thank you all in advance!
