- I found this way too tight. The shell pieces pinched and after an hour or so my wrist hurt. It was returned.

Longines L4.209.2.11.2 wrist watches news:
I've not made any major purchases for a number of months because I've been saving up to replace my car. It's a 1994 Audi S4 with 173K miles on it, and though it still runs great, it's seen its best days and I don't want to be stranded. So I'll be replacing it with a 2004-2006 S4 as soon as I can find the right one. What does this have to do with watches? Well, my hard to find grail (K-475) is available and I have the cash on hand to buy it, but the new car is more important at this point. Oh well, at least my priorities are straight.
I finally picked up my SMP 300M today!I have to say, without the manager present the crew at the Manchester, NH Jared store are a bunch of...uh...provide less than excellent service. I'm going to have to go back because they gave me the box for a Planet Ocean (PO embossed cleaning cloth, 3 year Co-Axial warranty hang tag, and COSC Hang tag, oh and wrong serial number hang tag...) and my warranty card isn't filled out. Ugh.That said, I've been staring at my wrist since I picked it up around 3:30 this afternoon!I swear...I'm not trying to be James Bond...And the 300M has some of the nicest lume that I've encountered thus far (with the exception of Luminox) - it's a beautiful color and just looks great in general. I love the way that the skeleton hands look in the dark. Thanks for looking!
What is considered a good deal for a brand NIB speedy pro? I can get 30% off for a BNIB from an AD here in NYC. Is that good? I know for rolex that would be amazing on most models, but how does that discount fare on an Omega Speedy? The MSRP is $4500 btw - so the price to me would be $3150.Thoughts?
i popped in to my local watchsmith,,, He showed me his recently acquired sea dweller,,,,, a gorgeous piece that didnt look huge as i expected,,, his watch sat very nice on the wrist,,,,, slimmer case then other sea dwellers he told me,,,,,
So I just took delivery of a pre owned GMT Master II from a listing on TRF and for the life of me I can not get it to run. I have wound it 40 clicks, worn it while walking for nearly an hour, nothing has gotten it started. I'm not sure how to proceed from here. I don't want to pay another few hundred for a service - the cost difference would be minimal between that and a new GMT. Is there something else that may be causing it to not run? Thanks.
