- I like watches and I thought this one was nice, I had to take one of the links out so it fit better. It looks like it would be worth much more than I paid. I am very happy with it.

...on a crystal for this watch:Engraved Pendant Watch. Either glass or plastic is fine. It is a ladies' convertible pendant watch as shown here:I think it is pre-1924 as the back cover is hinged and engraved "Guaranteed 25 years". As always, any help is greatly appreciated. I will post before and after pictures when completed. Thanks again, gatorcpa
Hi guys,I visted an Omega AD for the first time yesterday & I really loved the Speedmaster range. I was looking at the Moonwatch with the display caseback when the assistant told me that for less money I could have a replica (her words not mine) of the Moonwatch that did not have the display caseback. Instead of the clear caseback the replica has an engraved caseback. Can anyone explain what she meant by this? Which model would be the replica Moonwatch?
Released on Oct 7, and free to download from the iTunes Store.Check out the promo video.Cheers,Joe
Hello all here at TRF! I have a question for all the Patek owners out there. I recently purchased a Calatrava 5127 and absolutely love the piece. It keep amazing time (+1 second per day!) and looks great on the wrist. However, I've noticed that I hear the rotor quite a bit when my wrist moves. Obviously that's the winding mechanism in action....I'm just surprised how much I can hear it compared to my AP, Rolex, Lange and other automatic pieces. So my question to all of you is.....is this normal? I could take it in and have it looked at, but I'm guessing one of you experts here on TRF will be able to tell me if that is just a characteristic of PP, or something I need to be concerned about. Thanks in advance!
