Longines Longines 19683 wrist watches news:
The sponsoring luxury watch brands for WatchTime’s “Inside Basel.Geneva” series of watch collector events have really strutted their stuff this year. As noted by WatchTime’s IBG event partner, watch collector and aficionado Jeff Kingston, not only did each brand have a broad selection from its collection on display at the opening event in Chicago ¡ª far broader than you’d ever find at a boutique or other retailer ¡ª but key new watch models from SIHH and Baselworld that won¡¯t be in stores for some months. Scroll down to discover some of the highlights, many of which have been spotlighted in? detail on .A. Lange & S?hne: Lange had all three colors of its new Grand Lange 1 Moonphase (platinum, rose gold and yellow gold). Of course, the luxury watch brand from Glash¨¹tte, Germany also had a number of Lange Datograph watches on display, including the three top rarities: a rose-gold Lange Datograph Perpetual (all the other colors have been discontinued); a ros
When are skulls on a watch the less controversial choice? When skulls replace bullets of course. As a limited edition (of perhaps only one), Yvan Arpa's Artya brand based out of Geneva has created a special piece for Halloween 2013 of his Son of a Gun watch collection with skulls on the dial - as well as on the bracelet. This is perhaps the first watch I have seen with a dedicated bracelet made of skulls. It also may be the first bracelet from the Artya brand. Whether you are into wearing skulls or not, this is a watch worth knowing about if you want to be a well-rounded watch collector. What is it about mortality that makes us like to consider its end? We love horror movies, zombies, morbid fashion accessories, and other allusions to death. Few people actually wish to die, yet we love to play with the notion of death in an almost quasi-rebellious way that seems to suggest, "I've conquered death by embracing the notion of it while I am healthy." Or perhaps wearing skulls is more barbari
Winding is done via a key attached to a string of money. Signatures crafts Breguet and design - elements throughout the current collection of the brand - unequivocally include complex motor dial is silver with Roman numerals and the hands of Apple Breguet famous.
Finally I hope this works...photobucket.I figured I had too many watches I just wasn't wearing enough or much at all and since my boys, especially my oldest (13) also likes watches I figured I just let them have two of my lesser watches that I've only worn a few times each. Here's the big 45mm on my 13 year old:and this one for my 10 year old:They have since retireded their G-shocks and are very happy with Dad
Hi all,I just realized I never properly introduced myself to the forum. My appreciation for watches started with a Timex Ironman I was given for one of my childhood birthdays.A grad gift from the old folks - an Omega Aqua Terra 8500 - acquainted me with higher end watch brands and my pocketbook has been paying the price ever since.I'm active on one of the other boards, but haven't been contributing much here as I wasn't part of the club. In part, the it was the Rolex stigma that kept me away - i.e. the perception that most owners buy them primarily as a status symbol - as well as the ubiquitousness of the Submariner. However, I've since become better acquainted with the other models, including the under-the-radar 16570 which I just purchased NOS. Now if only I can find a NOS 16600.....Looking forward to participating in the forum!
