Maurice Lacroix Maurice Lacroix 52485 wrist watches news:
Prometheus just released their newest watch called the Baiji. The piece is meant to honor the now extinct freshwater dolphin species that was obliterated due to human intervention and pollution in their home waters in China. Baiji were incredible creatures and representative of an extremely rare class of Freshwater dolphins. There is an outline of one on the rear of the watch case. The watch itself is in steel (with a black PVD coated version) and is 43mm wide. There are various dial colors available with most having both SuperLumiNova and Tritium gas tubes on the dial. Inside the watches are Sea-Gull automatic movements which are ETA 2824 clones. Prices for the Baiji watches are between $338.94 - $440.61 depending on the model and where you live.To Enter You Must: 1. It is not news that Cartier released their new collection, Clé de Cartier, earlier this year. HODINKEE actually did a wonderful review on the men's collection in February – however I want to further explore the women’s pieces in the collection. 1 OF 11 You may have noticed that women’s watches are having a moment. With brands focusing the majority of their marketing towards attracting female buyers, women are wearing watches more than ever. Additionally, fashion editorials are featuring wristwatches in more advertisements and accessory spreads than in previous years, and not just women’s watches, men's watches – think pink-gold AP Royal Oaks and Panerais. 2 OF 11 Cartier is one of the most influential and recognizable brands in the industry and has a rich history of producing classic women’s watches. The chances are very high that Cartier was the first watch brand that you ever heard of – that or Rolex
I bought a Green 50th anniversary Sub in Jan 04 because I liked it, and thinking it would be a good investment due to the limited production. I had to search 5 different AD's to find one. That was then.....Today, every grey market dealer has an abuntance of them. It turns out that this watch is a 50th anniversary that is still being produced. I don't think that is a 50th annivesary edition anymore. They have made them every year since 2003. I think it is now just a green bezel watch, not an anniversary edition anymore. I bought a 50th anniversary Corvette in 2003, but you can't buy a new one today. The anniversary was 2003, not every year. I feel Rolex pulled a fast one with this watch.I am trying to trade it to buy a new GMT Master II and can't even get back what I paid for it. Annoyed,Bob
Hi there,This watch is still one of my favorites and this evening I felt the urge of taking some new pictures of it.The difference between the last two is quite subtle, just the light on the bracelet on the right side is different. Which one do you prefer?Kind regards,Cinq
Wanted to ask the member their views on the AP offshore Royal Oak series. To me they are not the most attractive tool watches and bloody expensive. Do they have special movements etc which warrant this price?
