Maurice Lacroix 79861 wrist watches news:
This past Thursday, on the eve of the traditional Swiss watch industry vacation, a longtime friend visited the watchmakers of the Manufacture Audemars Piguet to get an up-close look at the watch bearing his name: the Millenary Quincy Jones, which was presented at the SIHH 2010. For several years, Audemars Piguet and Quincy Jones have been associated in developing ¡°Project Q¡±, aimed at raising political and public awareness of young people¡¯s need for self-expression and the means that must be provided to ensure they fulfill their potential. The cornerstone of ¡°Project Q¡± is the ¡°Q Prize¡±, an international award presented by Audemars Piguet honoring a public figure or social organization having played a central role on behalf of children. Through his Quincy Jones Foundation, the artist is also committed to helping children by improving their well-being, their health and their dignity. The new Millenary Quincy Jones watch will contribute to raising funds for this foundation. In speaking of
Hi all, Have been searching around sporatically trying to identify this watch, or find a similar one for quite a while now but with no luck. Was "in the mood" once again to do another quick search, and happened to land here, so I decided to look around a bit. Everyone seemed to be especially polite and all the posts I read were from those who truly wished to provide helpful information. What a breath of fresh air! So, this watch was given to me by my father about 10 or 15 yrs ago, and I believe he received it from his father as well. He has always been an avid watch collector, and asked me to choose the one I favored most, among which included many Rolex's, etc. My favorite had always been this Longines, and it is not only beautiful but the most comfortable watch I have ever worn. It is all 18K, and the total weight is 75.3g, but I haven't been able able to find another like it. I do not have the proper size screw driver to open the case, and truly do not wish to damage it by t
Hi,Today my mom and dad showed up with two watches they found in my grandma's house (she just moved to a retirement home). They came to me first because they know I love watches and because I know more about watches than them (which is still almost nothing). The first one is an Omega Gen¨¦ve ladies watchand that's about as much as I can tell from just looking at it; no serial numbers whatsoever. I did wind it so it is a automatic watch (or a winding watch? I will get back on that with the second watch). If anyone can tell me anything about this watch it would be great! The second one is easier to identify. It is a Certina Automatic Blue Ribbon men's watch. There are some numbers on the back but I don't know which ones are serial numbers and whether or not it's safe to put them online (I've got no experience on this...). I guess I can tell you the first (of two) lines: it's 5809-170. The second line consists of six numbers. The funny thing is that it says it is an automatic watch but I don
Yesterday I planned to try on the Pelagos at my AD, and my eyes went towards the Breitling Colt auto. The bracelet is very comfortable and case size of 44mm sits well on my wrist as the caseback is quite flat, for a Breitling👍🏻Very accurate so far as of this morning...*The warranty card is quite cool, electronic screen display. Thanks for reading!
Just downloaded the free Omega app and it's great. Well organized and has some fun features such as a PO chrono you can manipulate with your touch screen. Another example of how Omega works hard to create a great experience for its consumers.
