Laser etching on Omega glass.
I have heard people mentioning and indeed displaying photographs of laser etched Omega symbols on the inside of hesalite and other similar types of glass. When did Omega start doing this? It's just that I have seen vintage Omegas advertised on the bay that claim to have their original glass in perfect condition, and to prove the point the seller usually mentions the etching. I'm always dubious as I thought the laser etched symbols are a fairly recent innovation.

New Guy with stupid questions
Great site. I've been lurking around for the last few days doing various searches and drooling over the pictures. I admit that I have been a "replica" guy for a few years now but my shame is getting the best of me. My wedding ring is gold so I feel like my watch should have some gold on it also. Is it better to have a strap watch (leather, rubber, etc) for an every day watch for a desk jockey? How good is the gold plating on the Japaneese Seiko watches? Is this normal - speedy second hand
I accidentally slow pushed the chrono start pusher and the second hand jumps a lot. The longer I take to push the pusher the longer it jumps. Is this normal? It's under warrantee Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
