Fueling our fire for summer jetsetting, Breitling recently launched the latest in their Unitime series: the Transocean Unitime Pilot. Incorporating the company's Caliber B05 movement, the watch prominently features a worldtime complication in addition to the chronograph. Simply turning the crown snaps the date and time to your chosen city, and you've got 24 total zones to choose from, meaning you're covered from Noumea to the Azores. While the Unitime has been in Breitling stable of offerings since the 1950s (see more on that vintage beauty here), the B05 movement gives travelers unprecedented ease when it comes to shifting time zones. The caliber is based on the in-house B01, but has been outfitted with two rotating discs that are controlled by the crown. The first controls your city¡ªflipping back and forth between zones automatically adjusts the hands and other indicators, including the calendar. Thanks for my warm welcome, everyone. Its nice to know that Rolex is appreciated on the Forum too. Much appreciated. So, I thought I'd show some more of my collection. These are some of my Speedy Pros. I hope you like them...Yes, I have more also....Joel
I placed an order with one of our sponsors uswatches on the 26th. I got a very good price on a Seiko Orange Monster. So far the customer service has been very good while placing my order and fixing a problem using an on-line coupon code that wasn't working. I will update this thread as my order is processed and received to let you all know how my experience with them has been. I will also post the pictures when it arrives! Wish me luck!
Have you all heard of Skagen?? Their watches are Danish-inspired and always clean, sophisticated, and affordable pieces. My husband and I have been fans for a while, and I was thinking about getting him a watch for Christmas. Which one do you guys like better?? If you have any other Skagen suggestions let me know!!!!
Well here it is... Volume 2.First and foremost, a BIG BIG thank you to my good friend Paul (texex91) for helping me with so many facets of getting this watch to me. I purchased this from the AP NY boutique on 57th and I was intro'd to the management by Paul. These I serial 44mm Rosies are in short supply and through his connections I was able to have management allocate one for me for a July delivery for me by ordering in June. I'm a customer of the Ginza boutique through my travels to Japan but Paul convinced the NY management that I should be a customers of theirs so either way, I'm happy to have a new home for my AP purchases. Without further blah blah blah here it is!Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk
