Maurice Lacroix mp7158-ss001-900 wrist watches news:
Round watches are certainly in again this year. Well round watches are pretty much ALWAYS in - though for high-end brand Maitres du Temps a 42mm wide round-cased watch is a bit unexpected. Nevertheless, that is exactly what the new Chapter Three Reveal watch looks like. For their third creation Maitres du Temps goes super classic in design, and offers a neat set of complications worth of the Maitres du Temps name. The Maitres du Temps Chapter One was a massively sized watch with an incredible amount of complications. The Chapter Two was a sort of baby Chapter One with a more simple movement and more wearable size. Each of those watches has tonneau style cases (well, mostly). What endures over to the Chapter Three from the other two models is the use of rollers in the movement to indicate information. Rollers will apparently be a signature element of Maitres du Temps timepieces.Like all Maitres du Temps watches, the Chapter Three is a collaborative effort with the brand and two very spec
The navigation theme has been a pretty prominent one in Montblanc’s recent production – probably most visibly, in the watches named for the famous Portuguese explorer, Vasco da Gama – but this year Montblanc’s pretty much pulled out all the stops in making something that speaks both to the history of marine chronometers, as well as showcasing the artisanal side of watchmaking in the Montblanc portfolio as it exists at the Minerva movement manufacture (the counterpart to the somewhat larger scale production facility that Montblanc maintains in Le Locle). I am not the most knowledgeable about watches, i simply enjoy treasure hunting. I go to estate sales, thrift stores, garage sales, and find things of value. I have typically been able to reference everything i find via internet, but i joined this forum in hopes that someone might be able to help me, this watch has me up against a wall! There is several markings, none of which are brands. The back plate just says #3383. The band says 1/20 12k g.f. which i was able to search and understand to mean a type of gold plating essentially. Anyone please tell me anything about this!!!!!
I ran into a white dial 5711 today and it is very pretty. i was moved. what do you guys think? as blue dial is the classic but white is also very attractive.
