At SIHH the Roger Dubuis booth presented a casino look, consistent with the launch of the new men’s collection La Mon¨¦gasque. The piece that best represents the high-stakes gambling theme is the limited edition Chronograph Big Number which sports the classic casino colors black, red and green. The 44mm rose gold case recalls the brand’s popular Sympathie line. Behind the roulette-inspired dial lies the self-winding RD680 movement which has been designed, developed and produced by Manufacture Roger Dubuis. The double-pusher column-wheel chronograph features a central chronograph hand, 30-minute counter at 3 o¡¯clock, and small seconds at 9 o¡¯clock. The movement, with 261 parts and 42 jewels, is 6.30mm thick and beats at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vph). What happened to the thread regarding Omega service?
I started a thread a couple of days ago asking about service for Speedmasters. I looked for it just now, and but it's gone. Can someone please explain how this could happen? What was that thread removed? Or am I missing it somehow?

Fed up
I (still, but for how long?) have a good job, a good family, a good life and good health. I can indulge in some of the finer things in life. I'm a TRF bastid . What could one ask for more?Well..... To be the proprietor of a small caf¨¦ in Ericeira, Portugal. Or to live in Malang, Indonesia. As our daughter is about to 'leave the nest', Anne and myself are contemplating such a move ever more and ever more seriously. Our country is changing rapidly and I must say, not to the good. To put it bluntly, we are fed up with it.We feel stangled by all the rules, suffocated by the ever rising taxes and lack of compasion. Tax free day starts here on the 27th of July. Insane! Although it probably will remain a pipe dream, I can't get it out of my head. So, are there any other esteemed TRF members that sometimes have the same thoughts?

I Had Almost Given Up!
A month ago I decided I wanted a SkyDweller TT with the White Face. Although I hadn¡¯t purchased a watch from my local AD in many years this was my first stop. What a bunch of jerks. I would not have minded waiting for a watch but they could have treated me like a human. They had an ownership change and the difference was obvious. I then began to call the AD¡¯s that were fairly close. Every one said, sorry we haven¡¯t even seen one of those but if we had it you would have to come into the store to purchase. I was down to two more numbers one 200 miles away and one across the country in N. CA. By now I knew that the N. CA was likely a no go so I called the AD 200 miles away. Yes we have one. It came in last night. We will hold it for 4 hours. I hopped in the car and took off. It¡¯s now mine. No discount. They had to order the extra link. They did give me a Wolf 1.8 watch winder (I know nothing about). I should have the watch with the extra link in the next 2 weeks. Very Happ
