Maurice Lacroix MI1098-SS041-130 wrist watches news:
The world of pilot's watches is a crowded one, with seemingly a new model, line or brand dedicated to the style coming out every day. But not all are created equal, and not all are made to truly be worn by pilots. Naturally, most of us are not pilots, myself included, and don't need something that is truly to spec, but often the same technologies and details that make them fit to fly also just make them long-lasting, tough-as-nails tool watches with bold and aggressive designs. Of the few brands that offer something truly meant for the cockpit, Sinn's watches go the furthest, offering the most cutting-edge tech as well as TESTAF certification, authenticating their credibility. We've looked at many a Sinn before on w&w, from the classically styled pilot's chronos 103 and 356 to the clean and purposeful 556i and 240 to the mission-ready EZM 13 diver's chronograph, all of which offer a great value for their build quality, style and functionality. Today, we're going to take a look at a
Ok, I have 96 watches in my closet, and adding this week/month (depends on the arrival time) are these three:Rolex GMT Master IIcSeiko SKX007Seiko SKX009So, the number will be up to 99I want to have the #100 watch, and to be a very special piece, to remember this number Of course I'm open to suggestions, to hear which can be the cherry on my pieI was thinking in a Seiko Ananta Spring Drive, but I want to hear your opinions...
Here's the sellers pic's will post the pic's ASAP.
Very unhappy, my diver never had the slightest shock, never, and just now I see that a small chip of ceramic between the bezel and the crown guard, basically the most protected part of the case, has gone off, in itself it is like a normal cut in a metal watch, it is almost not visible, because of where it is situated, but this is very disappointing since this is AP ceramic which is supposed to be 7 times harder than steel and it was never ever hit even moderately on something, and that part is so protected you have to take a very pointy chisel to make it, which I did not do, I suppose it is a construction failure, just hope there won't be any other... Not sure you can see it, it is basically in between the crown and screw of the strap, again it is the part of the case between the bezel and crown guard... No you see it, the small white mark just under the rubber image.jpg
I know it's a bit sad, but honest I actually enjoy the smell (and so does my wife)...
