Maurice Lacroix PT6158-SS001-33E wrist watches news:
I am looking at buying a BNIB Ref 5022 Calatrava Officer's. Per the price lists posted in this forum, this model was last made circa 2006. I have seen a few BNIB like this out there. Is this unusual for ADs to be unloading five year old BNIB Patek watches to gray market dealers? I like this model and the price is right but just wondering . . . why is this?Would the watch need an immediate service for lubrication? Will the oils be out of place if it sat for five years, maybe more?
Hi guys, I just purchased a Bentley 6.75 and absolutely love it. I've always had a love for watches but this is my first Breitling. I just had a quick question for you guys (which has probably been discussed but couldn't find anything), why is this website selling the watch for so cheap? Is that even real? because it looks a little more different than my watch that I purchased from Tourneau.. Let me know your thoughts...
Warning: I'm going to vent a bit here. But if you read my string of bad luck with internet jewelry/watch purchases in the past month, I think you'll grant me a bit of latitude:(1) Mid-December: After much research, bought a set of chocolate diamond and gold earrings for my wife's Christmas present using a "reputable" company based on a very popular retail search engine. Never heard from the company again. Took nearly a month to get my money back from Paypal after their fraud investigation. (2) Mid-December: Bought a beautiful, very old pocketwatch-converted-to-wristwatch from an Ebay seller with all positive feedback. Watch was completely DOA when I got it listing that is was fully functional. Took nearly a month but finally got my refund from the seller.(3) Early January: Sent my wife's gold/ss Yachtmaster in for a full service to a watchmaker with 100% positive feedback and over 700 transactions on Ebay. Got it back yesterday and I swear the guy must have used fine-grit
Hi All, Ok so the laugh is on me. I posted my final 3, with tribute to Jorge and others who have consolidated their collections. All 3 are gone!I then posted my final 4, all PP, but still some versatility and colour (blue!) was missing. So I present to you, with the arrival of my PP blue, my revised 3 for your review and comments. Cartier Santos finewatchmaking for formal, AP RO Navy for beater (rubber navy strap on order) and my grail 5960P blue for daily.May enjoyment and peace of mind be everlasting
Hello guys...I had a chance to play around with a 5164 recently and I really loved the GMT feature of the watch! Then all of a sudden I had this crazy idea... trade up from a 5167 to the 5164...Not sure if that's a good idea as the 5167 is such a beautiful and simple watch!Anyways, what are your thoughts? Any one else had a chance to see the 5164 in the flesh? (5164 photos from internet)
