Maurice Lacroix Maurice Lacroix 49249 wrist watches news:
I have been led to believe that the 600m Tunas were nitrogen filled and could only be serviced by Seiko. Is this correct or are there other choices out there?
Did you know that Seiko clinched the title most accurate mechanical movement in 1968 at the Neuchatel Swiss Chronometer Competition?40 years later the Swiss Chronometer standard still falls behind the Grand Seiko Standard.Mean Daily RateCOSC -4/+6s per dayGS -3/+5s per dayTest durationCOSC 15 daysGS 17 daysPositionsCOSC 5 GS 6Movement aside, when I examined the GS, the case is very well cut, very smooth luxurious touch to the finish. The dial, hands and markers are just beautiful to behold. Testament of diamond cut and hand polished craftsmanship. With low production numbers annually (said to be around 6-7 thousand pieces), GS has to one of the best watches a WIS can look forward to owning.
So what are your thoughts on how often one should service an automatic watch...I have heard various answers ranging from every 3-4 years to don't do it unless you are actually experiencing a problem with the watch.Thoughts?
I am getting the sense from ready posts that the chrono version of the nautilus is getting more love than the annual calendar Nautilus. Why is this the case? I was expecting the more complicated annual calendar would be appreciated more.
