"watches-dealer Wall" At Citizen Watch Flagship Store NYC
In late 2014, Citizen Watches opened up a flagship store in New York City located in Times Square on Broadway. It follows a trend of major companies who existed primarily in the wholesale business (selling watches mostly via third-party retailers such as department stores) to open up a few "mono-brand" boutiques in key markets in order to create special brand experiences for customers. As part of a new retail concept, Citizen asked watches-dealer to work with them in creating a "blogger wall" at the new Citizen watches flagship store in NYC.Citizen also integrated some of their efforts with the recent (and clever) Better Starts Now campaign that I discussed on Forbes here. #BetterStartsNow is one of the smartest marketing campaigns I've seen in a while and should set a bar for major brands when it comes to producing a message that speaks to core customers as well as novices to the brand. Citizen specifically wanted watches-dealer to showcase how its team wears and lives with watches. T

My one complaint about the 5164....
Hello everyone here at TRF! I've been mulling over this post for some time wondering if I should even start a thread like this. I am a person who always tries to focus on the good aspects of people and things and ignore the negatives. That is especially true when discussing an item like a Patek Philippe watch which is truly as close to perfection as one can expect from a man-made item. All that said, I am really struggling to get past one issue with the watch that is driving me up the wall.....the incredibly loud (relatively speaking) rotor noise.Now I know this issue has been raised before. For whatever reason, the 324 movement is a noisy movement. Now, I have owned the 5167 Aquanaut in the past and it seems that the movement in the 5164 is even more noticeable and it's really taking away from my enjoyment of the watch.
