- I liked the watch itself, but it never kept the right time, then the pin feel out, very poorly made.

Michele 03E000065 wrist watches news:
I was looking at a few Hamiltons and was very impressed. I own a Ball Trieste and love it and was about to purchase another Ball when I saw the X-Wind. It seems to be a great watch but wanted some opinions.
We found an Omega Marine Chronometer in going through my Father-in-Law¡¯s things this weekend. He is a veteran of the Coast guard and is in a nursing home now. As you can see in the attached picture, he has replaced the original band and the gold serial number plate as been lost. It is not running, but the housing does not appear to be compromised or damaged.I would appreciate any thoughts on the following before I send it in to Omega,¡1) Can it be fully restored?2) How much (approx.) it would cost ¨C for the band, serial number plate, possibly crystal and bezel?3) Anyone know where to find an original (model 1200?) band? Have struck out online.3) Estimated value (both before and after restoration).I understand that it's a somewhat rare and special watch, I would just like some more information and an idea of it¡¯s true value before we start the process. Any opinions/help/direction will be appreciated. Thanks for your time.2012-07-30_10-31-50_233.jpg
HelloNothing much... Just wondering what do you guys think about the 26120ST Dual Time.Appreciate some pictures, reviews, and your thoughts.
Would you trade a really nice 5134g (Travel Time) for a 5110p (World Time)?I really love the 5134g as I am into GMT/Travel Watches. That said, the 5110p is basically my grail watch (top of the tree in the GMT/travel genre) and the world timers are quintessential Patek. If you would do that trade, since the 5110p is platinum and more expensive, what do you think would be a reasonable amount to add in order to make a fair deal? Here are a few photos of the 5134g in case you are not familiar with the model.
I currently own a WG Sub and a BLRO and love them.I was looking to add to my collection so I went to an AD and actually tried on both the regular version with brown subdials and the version with all glacier blue dial and glacier blue subdials with the diamond markers.I loved both.I have an opportunity to purchase both of them at 30% off MSRP.I wanted peoples opinions (I already PM Dr. Tom and appreciated his thoughts!) about whether the watches are too similar to have in one collection or are they different enough?I really thought they looked different enough. Finally, I don't flip watches so these would be keepers so I am not worried about losing money selling them on the secondary market.I know I could get a Platona and DD40 in platinum or maybe a Platona and a Patek ....but I really prefer Rolex sports watches above all others...so I wanted everyone's thoughts.Thanks.
