Michele 06A000448 wrist watches news:
Back in May, Timeless Luxury Watches of Texas announced a limited edition Nomos Club Datum in blue. Restricted to a minute 100 pieces, they sold out fast and for good reason; they were ridiculously gorgeous. With inky blue dials off set with a cherry red seconds hand, they were an exciting riff on an already fantastic watch. Now, I'm a bit biased as I own a Club (not this one, but the cream dial 36mm non-date version), but having had a couple of weeks to spend with the Timeless Club I can easily say it's a winner, and a great example of how to use color on a dial.? We reviewed the manual wound Nomos Club before, which you can read here, and since many of the details are the same this is going to be more of a hands-on with a lot of photos.CaseThe case design is essentially the same as that of the Club manual, but it comes in a bit larger at 38.5 x 48.75 x 8.45mm. In a very uncommon move, all 4 of the different Club models have different case sizes, starting at 36mm and ending at a surpr
..or, in classic Rocky & Bullwinkle alternate title fashion: How to keep your significant other's sticky fingers out of your vintage watch box.Windy is getting this De Ville for Christmas:She picked it out, but my offers to the seller were refused. Well, for less money than my best offer I managed to find all the same parts in NOS condition in their Omega wrappers and had Steve / N2FHL service and assemble it. She happened to be in the room when I was looking at a few listings and she saw Kyle's thread:For Sale - 1930s Ladies Omega? | Omega Watch ForumsUsually she just walks away within seconds, but this time she told me to go back when I clicked to a new page. You know what that means. Yep, it's hers now. I look at it as insurance that she won't wear my watches. For less than $500 all in including service and straps, I got her two lady's Omegas. The one drawback is she still wants a blue dialed late 60's or early 70's lady's Seamaster which we were sniped on earlier this
Back in September 2004 Justin Timberlake was growing up and becoming a man. He did a very famous spread in GQ magazine called "Birth of an Icon" He was wearing all kinds of classic clothes, drinking a guinness and trying to act coolThey took a photo of him in a pinstripe suit, wearing a watchA 1968 Patek 3445 18k (white gold) This is the ACTUAL watch. I was fortunate enough to acquire it from the company that loaned it to him for the shoot. Thought I would share some pix with you.I guess the question is, did it make him look cool?
