- Beautiful yet simple to wear watch. The stones work well, not sticking you in your arm when worn, the colors are very true to the stones. Makes you feel like going for a walk collecting beach shells.

Movado 0606394 wrist watches news:
I just bought a Hamilton "automatic chronograph" yesterday from a local jewlerly store. It was used, purchased by the store from an estate sale. This is my first mechanical watch and was perchased as gift to myself for graduating college. I really wanted to get a watch that would last me through my career. I was drawn to it by the traditional look, and the fact that it contained swiss movement. Have little knowlege about these watches, their reputation, or the service/care needed for them, I wanted to post on here to get some feedback from those of you who know vastly more than I. Please just give some general information about this watch, your opinion of it, and any "need to knows" that you are willing to share. Thank you in advance for sharing your knowledge.==Matt
Thought I'd share some handy things I use often in order of frequency:Opti-VisorBergeon blower (the dark orange thing)quality spring bar toolcase-back ball for opening/closing screw-back casestweezers curved and straightRodicoIMO the opti-visor is indispensible. It makes seeing all the tiny things much easier for me, and greatly reduces the chances of marring finishes when changing straps. The blower is great for lots of things, but I use it daily when taking pictures. A few squeezes on and around the watch should remove most of the dust particles that ofent show up in macro photography.I've used quite a few spring bar tools, and this one is the best IMO. If you'd like to buy one, let me know and I'll send you one at my cost. From my experience most screw-back vintage watches can be opened with a case-ball. I like them because they're fast, and there's no chance of scratches. The tweezers I've shown are better suited for watchmaking than sizing bracelets, etc. For frequent use you can pic
Took this and my AP Diver with me to Menorca.
I had this croc/alligator/caiman strap in my watch drawer for the last 4-5 years and just remembered it was a 22mm - the same lug width as the PO.It is very comfortable. What do you think? It's needs a little more padding, but I kinda like it.Rob
With the ingenious ring command bezel developed by rolex with the ym 2 and skydweller...from an engineering and production stand point how hard would it be to alter the movement to go from 28 to 1 when transferring from feb to March... instead of just recognizing months that change from 30 or 31 days?
