I bid on this watch in a moment of weakness - and won. It arrived yesterday, though I haven't had time to take photos. But the fit and finish is very nice. Actually surprising considering it's China-made. The retrograde is very cool and fun. Great way to have a cool complication without spending killer dollars. As of July 1st Breitling has raised their repair prices. Last increase was 2008.Just got the list, but looks like about an 8% increase across the board.Steve

Greetings! I have been looking for a daily wear watch that can handle the elements yet still be nice enough to wear out casual - the proverbial "Jack Watch" if you will (Jack of trades). I was originally leaning toward the Marathon TSAR (and still want one someday). I liked the, deep breath, quartz movement. With the quartz, you have ultimate flexibility - can sit for a month, and you are still ready to go.But then, I ran across a Vostok K3. I have looked at the Vostoks before and have been interested in picking one up. Found one elsewhere at a good price that was unworn and came on a bracelet. It has a nice size (41mm), interesting day/night complication, date, 10ATM water resistance, and a reliable auto movement. Perfect for camping, biking, etc.I'm looking forward to it - my first sub. And yes, I'll post pics when it arrives.B

Omega lume vs Rolex
I had my sub serviced a year ago and had a new dial and hands put in. The dial is legible all night, but compared to a 10 year old Omega, it's still pretty poor. Both watches exposed to same light all day. Says something about Omega quality.
