Okay, here¡¯s my dilemma.I originally found these forums while researching my next watch purchase, which was intended to be an upgrade to my current work watch. So far I¡¯ve bought 2 great new watches, but neither of them fulfills my original goal. Now I want to buckle down and find a new work watch, but despite hours of research, I still need more (photo) help. If I¡¯ve learned anything from you guys it¡¯s that I don¡¯t know squat about watches.Despite the fact that my current work watch is a Swiss Army Maverick II alarm (stainless/silver dial/red bezel), I prefer a more subdued look. Here¡¯s what I want:A military/tactical style analog watch,Subdued metal case/bezel with matching bracelet or appropriate leather strap,Dark dial (black, brown, grey, OD),SL or Tritium illumination,Minimum case diameter of 44mm,Hardened sapphire crystal with AR coating,Water resistance just to average swimming pool depth,Cost new or used I want a Sinn EZM-1¡Here¡¯s what I don¡¯t want:A diving watch ¨C I don¡¯t want t
Hey guys, I'm new here and just got my first AP. I got the ROC and I need to take 2 links out. I don't live near an authorized dealer and was wondering if you would trust someone else with it or if they even could. I'm going to Vegas in a couple weeks so I can always wait until I get there if I need to. Thanks for the help!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Recently purchased a 18K gold vintage Patek Gondolo watch. The case size is about 25mm by 44mm. Believe the dial and movement are 100% original. Seemed like an original and very good quality watch, and I have always liked this style watch, so I pulled the trigger. I will be obtaining the archive papers from Patek, but I believe the watch is from 1926. I just have always found the flamboyant Patek's from the 1920's to be very interesting watches. Plus this style watch is large enough to still be stylish with the trend of larger watches. As an added bonus, the watch keeps excellent time.
