Movado 0606062 wrist watches news:
A collection that celebrates its 60th anniversary and a specific model or design that has been in the collection for 30 years ¨C like the Manhattan ¨C is something worth celebrating or at least worth mentioning.I hope the new Burberry Constellation with pie-pan dial can live up to our expectations! The preview photo of the pie-pan dial, diamond shaped hour markers and dauphin hands looks very promising.
I've heard every uneducated opinion from "Hardlex scratches like it's a stick of butter" to "Hardles is just as scratch resistant as sapphire." I've passed on a lot of great looking watches because they had Hardlex, and want to know the real scoop.
I'll start by saying that I have known that my girlfriend's father is into watches, especially dive watches. Not sure exactly what he has, a couple Citizens, but I am not sure of the rest...So the other day we went over to their house for dinner and I noticed he was wearing an Invicta Pro Diver, in my favorite style. When we were at the table I said to my girlfriend, look at your dad's watch, that's like the one I want. He immediately, without hesitation pops it off and hands it to me and says, "here, it's yours, I hate it."I was shocked at first, I thought he was just taking it off to show me but he was actually serious. He said its heavy and pulls his hairs out. He then went out of the room and came back with a Luminox on.So, thanks for him I have the watch I have wanted for some time. Its the quartz instead of the automatic, but I am in no way complaining. Its nice because my last watch I lost or was stolen out of my car.
I am going to get the mesh bracelet on this fabulous watch . I called the local AD the other day who said the watches and bracelets / straps are shipped separately and they had one with the bracelet. Whether that is correct information, I don't know. However, she said they would take the bracelet off the watch they have, sell it to me, and put it on my watch. I'm good with that For the sake of posterity, here is what mine looks like now!Clean as a whistle and no scratches! The AD said they can swap the bracelet for the strap. I don't want any scratches when they are done!
Hi folks,I'm considering ordering the stainless bracelet for my 5167. Would appreciate any feedback, especially from those who have the bracelet. Pics are certainly encouraged as well, of course! Is the bracelet sturdy? How does it feel (light/heavy)? Is it comfortable? How is the clasp? Is it prone to stretch? How does it look in person? Thanks all, and have a great weekend!
