Omega Omega 53100 wrist watches news:
? Mark Alberhasky / IMAGEMAPlease enjoy this guest post on the Apple Watch for watches-dealer by professional photographer and watch enthusiast Mark Alberhasky, founder of IMAGEMAwatches-dealer.I remember exactly the moment the Apple Watch was unveiled to the world. And as soon as the beauty shots and video hit the screen, I knew I faced a conundrum: How will this fit in among my collection of fine timepieces, and will my passion for watches disappear among ones and zeros? These were questions not easily answered, but I had many months to grapple with the ramifications, none of which could actually be resolved until the hype cleared and The Watch physically materialized.Although I knew my enthusiasm for all things Apple guaranteed I would buy the Apple Watch at the earliest opportunity, acquiring one, ironically, became something of a quest. As a professional photographer in my current life, I was scheduled to be in Costa Rica the night orders would go live on the Apple website. Determ
I found this in a drawer today in my sisters home and she said just keep it. The model is 6602-7040 from 1970, a little wind and the movement is ticking away and keeping perfect time. The watch is a bit scruffy and with a bit of effort I am sure it will clean up well. Unfortunatley it is missing the bezel ring, so I need source one and I am wondering will the bezel from any other models fit or must it come only from a 6602-7040. Obviously the first tatty watch is the one I found and the other is a photo I came across while searching the model number, all credit to the owner his watch is in fine condition.
I really like the ROC panda but find the size of 40mm GMTII to be the min for me. The new ROC's 41mm may be the answer but there is no panda option. I would have to go with the black face to get the size I want. Perhaps a member who owns both can provide wrist shots to compare?TIA
Alright - let me set the stage slightly - i'm generally a flipper...grab a watch at a good deal, wait for someone who wants it for more, make a couple bucks, and flip again.. it's been good to me. 5 years of flipping and I've got my RO for the cost of an old beatup sub I picked up for a couple K. I've now gotten into reach of getting to the Grail - a PP. Ideally a Naut. (Worst case a Calatava or an Aqua) having read these forums for years now.... 1. Aquanauts seem to be generally just looked at as a you couldn't afford a naut eh? - is this a general thought process, or is this just a thought process for those with Nauts? 2. Am I better to save that last bit so with a flip of the RO and one payment go right for the Naut, or get the Aqua or Cala in the mean time... Resale seems so tight on PP I feel like I won't be able to gain off a flip3. Maintenance - It seems staggering..Is this the case or are people hard on their watches?if the 3 is true... don't' get me wrong, I do pretty well...
