Omega Omega 14318 wrist watches news:
Hi guys,Only just joined this forum and need to ask this tbh! I wandered in to my local watch shop (not authorised dealer) and saw a black face Milgauss and a two tone GMT Master II and have fallen in love with both!I already have two cheapish watches that were my first buys and also a Tag Carrera Calibre S which was my first big step so don't particularly need another one but very much want one! My dilemma is do I spend the money on a watch or leave it in the bank. Im 20 and still live at home with no desire to move out to be frank, but will do in several years time. I have enough disposable money there that isn't really doing anything except collecting tiny interest and would happily spend the money if I knew I could sell it without making a loss in a fews years time. The Milgauss is is listed for ¡ê3650 and the GMT is ¡ê5250 (both GBP). When it comes to the watches the Milgauss is quite similar to my Tag in colour so my preference would be the two tone GMT which is a little bit differ
Omega, charting the history of their movements on their very informative website omega.ch/index.php?id=252 had this to say about the cal 861 which as you'll know succeeded the cal 321 that powered the Speedmaster from 1957 to 1968.Throughout the twenty-six years of production of the 27 CHRO C12, which became the 321, technology continued to evolve apace. The latest technology was applied to the new version of this calibre, the 861: a spiral balance with a higher frequency (21 600 A/h) and a simpler design, particularly for the chronograph mechanism, where the column wheel was replaced by a cam and the steel brake-lever of the second-counter wheel was replaced by a synthetic brake-lever.It is in fact not just a simplified version of the 321, but an improved one too, produced with the aim of improving performance and streamlining its production in ever-increasing quantities as a result of the continued success of the Speedmaster on the market since its first appearance in 1965 on the wri

Watch making is taking the next step with the advent of the Bionic Watch to be launched at Baselworld by BNB Concept from Geneva.Mathias Buttet one of the wizards of watch making has designed a very special watch which shows the time on the wearer's skin. The how and why remains his secret and those wanting to know more have to hail the Hummer limo cruising between the fair ground and Basel's top hotel Les Trois Rois housing the L'Espace BNB.The same venue is also housing the seven new brands of the Confr¨¦rie horlog¨¨re (the brotherhood of seven talented watch makers; four men and three ladies) of which BNB is the founding member.
Having just brought my AP, and normal content insurance does not cover the value,Do you all insure your watches And if so and in the uk, any heads up on companies would be appreciated
