Granby Pocket Watch, any insight?
I picked up this pocket watch at an antique store yesterday while traveling in Austin Texas. Of late I have become interested in vintage pocket watches and this looked interesting when I saw it in the store. Unfortunately, my knowledge of watches is very limitedIt is not working and the movement seems to be in rough shape. I am hoping I might be able to get it repaired when I get back home.I have been trying to find some information on this watch through google searches with no luck at all. Searching for the name "Granby" is not really coming up with much. On the movement it is stamped "gothic watch company." Hey guys,About to pick up an AP Jumbo soon for my 30th birthday present as well for a gift for my up coming wedding. Wanted to see some pictures of it to get my excited for my upcoming purchase but would also want to know if any of you guys have ever put it on a strap or if that can even be done. I doubt the plots are the same as the 15300 cases and not sure if anyone made plots for the former 15202 case style.
